In February this year, Curve Concepts officially turned 20.
Here’s a look at our journey.
In 2005, we became the first specialist USB supplier in SA and pioneered the use of flash drives for marketing and business.
In those days, 128MB and 256MB drives were the standard.
This was our first home page. We thought the animated gif was super snazzy at the time 
In 2007, we sold our first 1GB USB drive – for about the same price as a 1TB drive today.
We also made some (much-needed) improvements to our home page.
In October 2014, we introduced the mobile phone OTG USB in the ubiquitous swivel design.
By 2020, we had our current shop-style website and a new corporate identity.
However, when the pandemic hit, USB business was scarce and we used our equipment to start The Laser Source, a division focused on laser cutting and engraving. It’s still running today.
In 2023, business was back in full swing. We launched an updated catalogue with over 100 new flash drive models, affirming our position as SA’s USB market leader.
Some clients have been with us since the beginning of our journey and others have joined along the way.
